What is a serinette?

This page is still being written. Here is what it will hold.

• The hand-cranked bird organ, France, from about 1730, and how it taught canaries tunes.
• Its cousins: the merline, the flageolet, The Bird Fancyer's Delight (London, 1717).
• Why the app is named after it, and what it turns around.

Written for: serinette (90, KD 0), bird organ (210, KD 5). Owns the brand name alongside the instrument.
